William Howe
William Howe, was born August 10, 1779. He lived through the Revolutionary War. But not just as an innocent by standard. He was on the British side as a British Army Officer, who rose to be Commander-In-Chief at the age of 47. He controlled all of the 13 colonies. Washington was fighting against Howe, but Howe and his army was much much better. While the time while William How was Commander-In-Chief he captured a fort including 3000 prisoners and had many valuable supplies like food and guns for his army. William Howe lived through the Revolutionary War which ended ended in 1783. Howe died July 12, 1814 at the age of 85.
William Howe lead the British to many victory's. One of the victorious battles was The Battle of Bunker Hill. William Howe's army was very large. He could have chosen to surround the Americans with ships at sea but decided to have his troops march uphill to scare the Americans with a battle straight on, face-to-face. He was very wrong. The Americans waited on him to come up hill and they fired on the British. Multiple soldiers we killed and wounded, The rest retreated down hill. The British soon returned and fought back by that time the Americans were running low on ammunition. Soon the Americans had no ammunition leading the British to victory.
